With God’s Vision and spiritual burden Urapakkam ACA church was started by Pastor G John Pushpanathan in the year 1997 with a small gathering at a house in Urapakkam. Later, with motivation and prayers, Urapakkam ACA Church was dedicated by Pastor Sam Sundaram on March 28, 1998. The Church continued to grow as the small group that met in homes gathered together on weekends.
After Pastor G John Pushpanathan entered glory, his wife Sis. Hema John is continuing the ministry with God as the only driving force behind her. The Church building was extended in 2014 July 29 to accommodate the growing congregation. Sis. Hema John along with assistant pastors and elders are continuously establishing the Church in the faith, prayer and worship, equipping people to impact the city, nation and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
